She FINISHES!
What a feeling! Without the support and encouragement of my "team" it would never have been possible. Thanks so much "Hank's Girls" for your weekly emails that kept me on track with my training. For the last 16 weeks I looked forward to checking my email, knowing that I would receive a training tip, an encouraging quote, or just a funny story about a bike shop mishap! I will miss them. I love you all and can't wait until next year....or this summer! 
Thanks also to my wonderful husband who really earned this t-shirt. He sacrificed many hours right along with me, so that I could train and be ready for the big day. I love you Bubbs, and can't wait to do it with you next year!
Here's the whole crew sporting our "Hank's Girls" t-shirts. Grandpa really would have been proud of his girls!
We had our own little cheering section everywhere we went. Here are our littlest fans. They made signs and handed us water too. They even snuck in some fun...thanks to Grandpa Will and Grandma Vic.
