These girls spent hours in the water this weekend. We spent Friday afternoon/evening and Saturday at the Ramada “Pirate Ship” Hotel. It is a gift from my mom and dad to the kids for their birthdays. It is a weekend the kids all look forward to each year. Amirah has always been very scared of the water. Because we have spent the last three weekends in a row at hotels/pools she has been able to spend lots of time around water. We are making strides. This past weekend she went in the water without an adult and moved away from the side of the pool. We spend a lot of time around water in the summer and it worries me that she doesn’t know how to swim. This spring we are going to get her to the pool a few times and get this little girl swimming!
