All winter long there are two places that I long to be: with my feet in the sand on Big Sand Lake or sitting on the deck watching the kids play in the backyard. 
This would be the very reason we bought this house. We are backyard people. Sometimes we mosey our way to the front of our house to try and be social, but almost all of our time is spent in our backyard. We love the fact that our backyard is somewhat secluded and we have no backyard neighbors…besides the occasional deer, pheasant, or biker. When we bought the house, the plans for the bike trail were not in the works. When we found out that the bike trail was going to go through that field we were a bit irritated. We have now discovered that we really kind of like it. It is the perfect place for the kids to ride bike and roller blade and it also makes getting to the park quick and easy.
