If a realtor tells you that the "popcorn ceilings" that you are not particularly fond of, would be very easy to remove, start jogging slowly away from the house. If the house is very tempting and you are still intrigued, ask the previous homeowners if the popcorn ceilings have ever been painted. If the the answer is "yes", start running very, very, fast away from the house!
I HATE popcorn ceilings. Yes, Bleeker children I said hate. Boy do I have a pic for day 8!

Amen! And don't believe anyone who tells you that popcorn ceilings are making a comeback either. Still waiting for that one to come true...
